Are your magazines Direct Mail or placed at businesses for customer pick up?
They are mailed free to customers and placed for free customer pick up.
Our magazines are mailed as a stand-alone publication to tens of thousands of households by the USPS EDDM (Every Door Direct Mail) to homes, apartments, condominiums, duplexes and more in our listed zip codes. The majority of deliveries consist of homeowners. Look on the back cover at the top right of the MarketGuide Magazines and you will see ECRWSS and U.S. Postage Paid. Also, thousands of additional magazines are continually placed at numerous placement areas for free customer pick up within the tri county area.

Do people have to sign-up or buy a subscription to receive the MarketGuide™ Magazine?
No, our magazines are free to customers whether they receive it in the mail or they pick up an issue at one of our many placement locations. This way of advertising drives new customers to you, helps to continue returning customers, and helps keep youf buisness top-of-mind.
This form of advertising is non-evasive and comfortable to customers because they know their personal information is not being sold to 3rd parties or used without their knowledge, as our magazines are mailed without name but EDDM, Local Residential Customer.

How often are your magazines mailed out?
Each Edition (Peoria County Edition and the Tazewell and Woodford Edition) issues are mailed four times a year, plus thousands of extra issues continually placed for free customer pick up.
- Why do you mail the magazines at the intervals you do?
Over the last 26 years, we have always mailed every three months and with continued feedback, it is still the overall consensus from our advertisers that quarterly mailings along with placement is a great balance between coupon/offer redemption and their advertising budgets vs. bi-monthly or monthly mailings.
Each edition issue has Real Value with a longer run life, over 100 coupons and offers available, and extended coupon expiration dates. With the thousands of additional issues placed for free pick up at numerous locations, the availablility of 1 click printing of coupons from this site, and social media, we feel we are giving customers many resources to save that couldn't be fully utilized by customers within a month.
In fact, due to the magazine’s extended shelf life, this gives your message repeat exposure, meaning more time to generate responses—and more business for you, for less than two-thirds the cost per quarter than our competitors.
- Are your magazines inserted into another publication, like a flyer or mailed with other publications?
No, each MarketGuide Magazine is mailed as a standalone full-size magazine publication without loose ad pages that fall out.
- I have a concern advertising with you due to your mailing schedule, I have time sensitive offers/coupons that I want to run, how would that work?
We understand, we have advertisers that sometimes offer monthly or time specific coupons within the quarterly run of the magazine.
You can offer time sensitive coupons for a specific period. Example; "coupon 1" is valid for the first month, "coupon 2" is valid for the second month and "coupon 3" is valid for the third month.
This option saves you advertising dollars and still allows you to offer unique monthly coupons. In addition to this flexibility, your business gains repeated long term exposure beyond just the coupons...unlike short term publications.

- I would like to place my ad on the cover of your magazine, is this possible?
Yes!
Unlike other publications that have no cover ad or "locked in" advertisers on the cover and is unavailable, we do offer exclusive cover ad space.
It is subject to availability and approval, it is a 2/3 page ad size or smaller.
It is available on our Peoria County Edition and our Tazewell & Woodford Edition issues.
If you wish to be on a particular edition issue or time of the year, please let us know asap, cover ads can sell out many issues beforehand. Feel free to contact us with any questions on this great special ad placement.
- What if a customer would like additional coupons?
This is where we stand out above all other direct mail publications.
We continually place additional free magazine issues at businesses, supermarkets and hotels in the tri-county area for customer pick up, in addition to the direct mailing.
In addition to the thousands of extra issues, we offer available 1 click printing of coupons from this site. Coupons are also available from our Facebook and Pinterest social pages.
- I already do digital/social media advertising, why would I want to advertise with direct mail?
That's great that you do, so do we, as an supplemental resource to our magazines, but so does nearly everyone else.
Websites are endless and social sites are numerous and a new one seems to pop up every day.
Free social media "advertising posts" are very limited in actual views/comments/likes, paid social media advertising, per day, per view, is very expensive, especially for any kind of long term advertsing strategy.
Physical magazines offer advertisers to be in the "spotlight" by having a beggining and end, i.e., page 1-16, since we have a select number of advertisers...not all of your competitors...just do a search of your business, see how many others come up.
Our professional publication and direct mail to tens of thousands of households is a fantastic way to get in front of new people and help retain current customers. Your physical ad can direct people to your website and social sites!
- Do I need to run a coupon in your magazine to be able to advertise with you?
You do not have to run a coupon.
You may use your ad space, as in other forms of advertising, i.e., billboards, other publications, newspaper ads, etc. for listing your event schedule, special information about your business, general special offers, grand opening, the possiblities are nearly endless.
Our magazine's main focus is on money saving coupons and offers, but at our low rate per customer reach with the direct mailings and extra issue placement reach, we may be a wise choice for you to get your business out in front of people. Your ad will be viewed many times over due to the money saving value of the magazine from the other advertiser's coupons and offers.
- Other than your magazines, do you offer other forms of advertising?
We offer adverting postcards. These are not shared postcards, they are exclusive to you. Our low rate postcards mail out about the same time, but separate from the magazine, with customizable delivery areas, available within our delivery areas.

- I want my business to really stand out, is there any additional "specialty" type advertising available in your magazines?
Yes, but subject to availability, exclusive front cover, back cover, and stiched in the center of the magazine, a full page, with a 2 page ad size, folded in half.
- Are you really locally owned or are you an advertising firm in another state, but have representatives that call/come here?
The MarketGuide Magazine has always been locally owned and operated. We currently are right here in East Peoria, IL. Since we are always local 24/7, we are able to serve you personally, via in person, email, text or call.
- What are your ad payment options?
We offer 30 days net, pre-pay, and monthly payment plans. Contact us for full details.
- Other than your ad rate, are there any additional ad design or set-up fees?
No. Our rates are all inclusive, design and changes of your ad, production and mailing via USPS of our magazine, continual placement of the magazine, your ad placement on our website, your ad placement on our Facebook and Pinterest social pages.
We don't believe in gouging you by charging upfront set-up or production fees, ad design or ad change fees.
